      Operations Interview

      17 Feb 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Austin, TX
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at DoorDash (Austin, TX)

      Interview

Overall good experience. There were 3 rounds in the process. They asked me to review a spreadsheet and make conclusions/action plan from that document. Was given an offer but received a few so didnt accept this one as it was not remote and lower than others.

      Operations Interview

      25 Apr 2024
      Anonymous employee
      Tokyo
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash (Tokyo)

      Interview

Very straightforward. First interview with the HR. If you are interested in moving forward, they will give you a test to see what your work is going to be like. What I got was 3 sheets of Excel, just raw data of restaurant information. You have to figure out what each sheet represents, and use it to answer the questions you were given; (e.g. Which location is having hard time onboarding, and why? How would you try to solve it) (This was probably the toughest part of the interview process, since it's such a big raw data, you have to really put your time on this to make it neat, and show how good you are with making an excel sheet. Once you pass the test, you are going to go on an interview with the hiring manager who will be your boss. If that person likes you, you will most likely get the job. You will continue on with the loop interview with 3~4 more people, and they will ask you questions that most of the tech companies will ask; (e.g. Have you worked with tons of data, and how did you manage to use them to solve problems. etc)
