I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at DoorDash
Interview
The interview process is messy. I went through the Tech screen interview.
30 mins case study and 30 mins sql coding. The first time the interview was scheduled, the sql interviewer did not show up to the interview.
I contacted the recruiters about the no show of the interviewers and it took them a week to get back to me and another week to reschedule the coding interview (siting that I had positive feedback from the case study interviewer).
On the day of the interview I received an email that the interviewer was changed but the time is still the same.
I aced the SQL interview and the interviewer said that the answer looks good to him for every question I answered, without asking follow-up questions.
A week later the recruiter reached out saying that I didn't make the cut.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at DoorDash in Jan 2026
Interview
referred by a friend, and had the 1st round of interview consisting of 30-min case + 30min coding . The case question is not hard with pretty vague, but they do care a lot on how to translate the solution into technical solutions

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DoorDash in Nov 2025
Interview
It was a series of two rounds, one was a SQL round, and the other a case study. They provide ample material to prepare for the interview beforehand. But be prepared for changes in the time length or order of interviews on the actual day. The SQL questions will be easy to medium.
