I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter for a basic HR interview. After a week the same recruiter called me to set up a virtual interview with him and the hiring manager, but he tried to talk me out of it because the salary is too low, but it seems that he made up his mind or wants to reserve the vacancy for a relative or a friend. I attended the interview even though I knew what the outcome will be based on the recruiter's behavior. Immediately after the interview, I received a rejection.
