Question 1
To explain the role and the company, and what my first 90 days would look like.
I was asked to prepare a brief presentation on an assigned issue. At the interview I had to present this and answer a few questions, followed by a standard interview with questions about competencies and knowledge of the subject area.

Question 1
There were several questions about the issue areas ECITB deals with - knowledge about apprenticeship schemes, key policy obstacles around skills and training.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ECITB (London, England) in Apr 2016
Interview
Initial interview with recruitment consultant. Passed that then interview with ECITB panel.
The panel did not appear to know who they'd be interviewing next looking for someone of a specific gender when coming out into the reception area. Quite disconcerting.
Briefed that it would be a competency based interview, but in reality a mish mash of questions.
Panel had varying levels of engagement, from moderately interested to appearing rather irritated to be there.
Outcome had be chased for, no feedback given.
