I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Calcutta) in Jul 2019
Interview
There were 2 coding rounds
Round 1 was from home. There were 3 coding questions total time of 150 mins, level of each question is almost easy. You need a webcam to give that test. No tab switching is allowed since you are monitored during that time.
Round 2 was from there office or someplace they decided. For me, it was Techno India Saltlake. They will present about Eapm for an hour. Then the round starts. Total of 2 coding questions and 11 MCQ questions from CS topics and Java. Cutoff for this round is decided after the round is over. Total time is 120 mins. 20mins for MCQ, 40 for Q1 and 60 for Q2.
Level of Question 1 : Easy
Level of Question 2: Medium
Round 3 was a group discussion on a topic with 10 members. They want to check if you can speak in a group, otherwise, they will eliminate you.
Round 4 was a technical interview. They check if you are up to the standards they are asking for. They ask if you can optimise your Round 2 codes. In-depth questions from Core Java about OOPs, Inheritance, Abstraction, Encapsulation, Garbage Collection, Polymorphism, Memory Allocation, Projects in CV, small problems etc will be asked. Total time of the interview can be from 20 mins to 1 hr also.
I was eliminated in this round.
Round 5 is a normal HR round.
Results will be announced after they complete recruiting all over India via E-Mail.
Each round is an elimination round.
