First round HR telephonic interview, then after 2 weeks I was called for f2f, that included excel, access and aptitute test. Folowed by personal interview , that took 5-6 hours. After 2 weeks I was called from VP round interview that was a stress round and clearly demonstarted how stressful job will be. I cleared all rounds and then it took EXL almost 1 month for salary negotitaions, they offered me a very low salary that was unimaginable and much lower than lower band suggested by job advertisement. I said no and asked for atleast middle band which was in Naukri.com.
They told to come back and then kept on giving excuses that decision maker is out finally they rose salary a little bit which was still very low, I decided to say no to the offer.

Its all stress interviews...basically you have to be logical and stick to your answer if u feel its right.
3 rounds focused on python sql and ml. They will also ask about your modeling projects and the metrics which you used in your projects. They will question you on date science concepts also

Explain modeling projects which you have worked related to credit and fraud risk modeling
The interview process depends on the client's needs. Mostly, there are 2 rounds with a pre-screening. First round is the technical round, complexity of which depends on the role and the client and the 2nd round is the HR round. If client demands an interview then an additional round with the client will be arranged after which the HR round takes place.
It was quite good, less technical, more managerial. There were 3 rounds. 1st round was bit difficult, rest was easy. Questions related to java were asked. Functional round was very difficult.
