      UI Designer Interview

      28 Mar 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Electronic Arts

      Interview

Very unorganized. Felt like my time had been wasted and received little to no communication. After interviewing, I received an automated response to say somebody had already been offered the role before I had even begun interviewing. This was after waiting two weeks for a follow up interview to be setup with the team. For a big name company, I would expect more organization in the interview process. If a candidate was already identified and offer was extended, I feel it is ingenious to continue to actively interview candidates and ask for their time that could be committed to roles that are actually open.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Run through your past experience, how I dealt with certain situations.

      UI Designer Interview

      18 Nov 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Electronic Arts (London, England) in Oct 2024

      Interview

I initially had a recruiter screening, followed by a 25-minute interview with the product manager and senior UI designer. During the interview, they asked me to introduce myself and discuss my previous work experience.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How did you manage communication with team members in different regions, considering the time differences? Can you describe your design process?
