recruiter reached out and scheduled call after a long delay of month between initial discussion and the interview. The interviewer was senior tech lead and he started asking below questions for 6+ yoe backend developer working a top product company. 1 , gave two analyticals questions - one was cutting cake and another was coin flip problem 2. asked about oops concepts 3. hashset vs map 4. internals of hashmap , collision , chaining. 5. some java questions of equals and == and finally ended the interview. I did answer almost of the questions but felt very bad for taking up this interview where the interviewer was wasting my time asking basic questions and not even asking for any problem solving or project questions. Inner me was like waste of joining such company where the interviwere doesn't even know what you know better and asked then for a feedback, so I can give my feedback on how they wasted my time conducting such a poor interview. lack of knowledge with the interviewer is the problem in my case.
