      Product Manager Interview

      11 Nov 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Berlin
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Emil Group (Berlin) in Oct 2025

      Interview

The interview process at Emil Group was generally a negative experience. It was scheduled for three hours, but the structure and content didn’t justify the length. The discussion began with questions about hobbies and personality traits, which seemed irrelevant to the position. Most of the questions seemed copied from a book, vague, and disconnected from real-world experience. Then came a whiteboard challenge that felt unplanned and unclear in its purpose. What made the experience worse were the interviewer’s comments. They had a dismissive attitude that made me feel unwelcome. Partway through, I realized this wasn’t someone I’d want to work with, so I decided to end the interview early.
