I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Empower Pharmacy in Jun 2018
Interview
The interview process was intensive but it moved along very quickly. I met with several directors and also the owner of the company. I am very impressed with the recruiting team
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at Empower Pharmacy (Houston, TX) in Jul 2024
Interview
Very long. From first application to final rejection it took 7 months. First recruiting call occured in month # 1 and 2, then heard nothing until month 5. Reapplied at month 5, then the interview process picked up in months 5, 6, and 7.
1 recruiting call and 6 interviews occured in total. 4 interviews in the last 3 months, then verbal offer occurred. I was told the interview process was completed and that was not true. Turned down another offer after setting two potential start dates.
2 weeks after the comp negotiation, I was met with covert final interview and the offer was rescinded.
I'd say they don't negotiate and can only paying 8-10% under market rate which was a difference of ~$10-15k.
Their offices were open seating desks, mid-management didn't recieve a half cubical. No gym, no front desk, no on-site cafeteria, low security. The potential experience felt like a really big ask and workload dump, and I expected this to be a 50 hr/week position.
I don't recommend any management role where more than 4 interviews is required. No reason multiple groups can't get together in a single day.
