I applied online through a post by a staffing agency, so the company was unknown. I had a couple phone calls with the recruiter before a phone screen with the hiring manager. She was super flexible with my schedule and we ended up chatter after my work day ended. I was invited in for an in-person interview with the new VP of HR and the previous HR Director who transitioned to Finance in the same company. They were very kind and informative and made me feel comfortable. My 2nd on-site interview was with two other managers that reported to the VP of HR. Again, very kind people that made me feel comfortable and gave me a good idea of what reporting to the VP would look like and expectations. Same day, I met with the President of the company (VP reports to him). The meeting felt casual and not at all stuffy/impersonable. My 3rd in-person interview was with the Director of the Distribution Center on the east side, as I would be working with that team as well. He gave me a good idea of what it would look like to work with his team and some challenges that could pop up working in this role, which I appreciated. An offer was made the following day. The whole interviewing process took a week.
