I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Oct 2016
Interview
I was contacted by an Epic recruiter to apply for this position. I first had a 30 minute phone interview with someone currently in the position - this was very laid-back and casual. The majority of the conversation was him describing the position and the work environment of Epic, and answering my questions.
After completing the online skills exam, I was invited to the Epic campus for an in-person interview, which lasted about 5.5 hours. It consisted of a software demo, overview of the position, case-study situation, tour, lunch, HR interview, and programming test. The case study gave you a scenario of the tasks you had to handle in a day, and asked how you would prioritize them and communicate with customers. The HR interview was very standard; only the programming assessment was difficult (be sure to familiarize yourself with 2D arrays and loops).
I received an offer 6 days after my on-site interview.
Consisted of a full day of interviews and additional sessions to learn more about the company. Overall enjoyable and informative day that gave me a good look of the company and what my role would be.
