Begun with a phone interview that was half basic interview questions (why Epic, why healthcare IT, tell my about my background), half was the other interviewer, another Technical Problem Solver tell me about the company and her role. Moved onto the skills assessment and a personality test a few days later, took about an hour and was mostly logic questions with one section that involved a made up programming language and tested your ability to learn concepts quickly.
On-site interview was very relaxed. Included meeting several Epic employees, a tour of the campus, a lunch break. You arrive the night before and stay in a hotel in Madison, and you have the chance to eat dinner with an Epic employee and several other people interviewing for Epic the next day (not all of them for the same position as you). The "interview" portion of the day includes a case study (see previous Glassdoor reviews), be sure you are able to think quickly on your feet even for the impromptu behavioral question - a behavioral interview with HR - and a coding assessment. Finished in the middle of the afternoon and went straight to the airport.
Excellent experience overall
