I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Equiteq (New York, NY) in Jan 2025
Interview
The first round was great and the people were great. The firm and culture described sounded prime for growth. For my second round, which was the case study. One of my interviewers was 15 minutes late and one of them swapped with a Senior Associate who was very condescending. Unfortunately, keeping the same interviewers and rescheduling would have been better than swapping with someone on a power trip.
Hi, thank you for your feedback. I am concerned to read your feedback, as this is certainly not the experience we would want you to have in speaking with our team.
I would like to ask if you would be happy to contact me directly please, I would be keen to discuss this further so that we can address these issues.
Thank you for your time.

Interview
Generally simple interview, but clearly the process has huge flaws in it. I saw huge churn and turnover after I accepted my offer, with new recruits terminated quickly or long standing employees suddenly let go, including traumatically during covid and aftermath! I recommend a more thorough and thought through process to hire people with a long term commitment to your hiring promises.
