HR contacted me initially and set up a call with the hiring manager. Second step, I thought, went rather well, but I was wrong. I was supposed to have HR reach back out to schedule me a facility visit, but it went quiet, so I reached out and immediately got a response saying they went with someone else. Only positive takeaway is building my tolerance to unprofessional ethics. Thank you for the “encouraging” experience!
