I enjoyed speaking with the team during my two interviews but my time wasn’t really valued. I was told I’d be moving forward to a final interview and shared my availability multiple times, but then never heard anything back. I understand things happen but even a brief update would have made the experience feel more respectful.
3 rounds, straightforward. Hiring manager, recruiting screen, and final round with 3 interviews with cross functional partners. All behavioral questins trying to gauge interest. Quick turn around and clear communication of expectations
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EquityZen
Interview
The interview process was mostly normal but I did inexplicably have to go into their office for two interviews after already doing several online interviews. The second time I trekked down to Wall Street, and 24 they told me they would have picked me for the role, but they just restructured and it was no longer needed. I find it hard to believe no one knew about that 24 hours in advance to alert me and it was incredibly rude to lead me on and waste my time in a tough job market. I would be cautious of this company based off my interview experience, they don't seem to have a great structure or understanding of client/customer functionality.
