A recruiter from Ethos Life reached out to me on LinkedIn. We then scheduled a 30 minute phone interview with a hiring manager. In the confirmation email, they give you a PDF outlining the interview process, and I've never seen this before! While it's super minor, I was impressed with them even before I spoke with them.
The interview with the hiring manager was fairly relaxed and seemed like they were genuinely interested in learning more about me. It was all behavior questions, with some more pinpointed questions about my resume and interest in the role.
I heard back from the recruiter the next day to schedule another interview with a more junior team member. Once again, I thought the call was relaxed and the interviewer was curious about the projects I have worked on in my current role.
The recruiter got back to me the next day explaining that they were moving forward with a different candidate. I was disappointed to hear that, as Ethos seems like a great company.
