1st a code signal OA, then a Phone screen with 2 engineers, 5 questions where you didn’t code anything directly but talked though your solution. Then a recruiter screen, and finally an 8 hour onsite. It’s difficult but doable if you have a solid foundation
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Everlaw (Oakland, CA)
Interview
This was for the new grad software engineer position. It first started with an emailed OA link(not the Leetcode type) where they give you 1-2 hours to finish writing a few existing functions in the codebase and then answer a couple questions regarding a technical document. Then, the next stage was a ~30 minute recruiter call where they talk about Everlaw and what they do. After that, you are allowed to schedule a date and time for a final onsite interview in Oakland. It took about 6-7 hours, but it's doable if you are able to solve Leetcode easy/mediums(strings, trees, graphs) and know some system design. Overall, the people were very nice and the questions were of reasonable difficulty.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Everlaw (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2025
Interview
Interviewer was nice, no behavioral questions, went straight into technical. They ask runtime complexity for everything. No coding involved, all talking through the problems. Thought the interview went well and got rejection 2 days later.
