I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Everyday Democracy
Interview
The following events occurred over a period of 3 months: 1. HR phone interview, 2. hiring director Zoom interview, 3. senior officer panel interview, 4. 437-question personality assessment, 5. HR references call, 6. hiring director "surprise" phone call interview.
The scheduling of each call/interview would take 1-2 weeks. From the start, I never received a clear response about the time frame and steps of the interview process. After the last call, the organization went radio silent for 4 weeks without updates.
After all 6 rounds of events, the "no-offer" email was a generic, short rejection from HR blind copying you without addressing you by name.
Individual people were very friendly and the interactions were nice. The length of interview process, lack of clarity, and ways of communication do leave much to be desired.

Interview
I interviewed with a team first, and then with the E.D. The team interview could have been better. Some didn't have the necessarily attitude and skills. The E.D. was stellar with her approach, attitude and clarity. I felt well considered and that I knew what the team environment and responsibilities would clearly be.
