A really unfriendly and impolite interview.
I arrived there on time, waited around 15 mins to start the interview with 2 interviewers. 5 mins later , one more interviewer came in, interrupted, rough, didn't introduce himself. He just sit down directly and started to read my CV, and ask what project did i handled before, I explained politely and told him about a case of using ERP system to cater trading company operation but the his immediate reaction was how come a ERP solution can be used without using BOM. I attempted to explained this is a trading company they don't really need an exact BOM module then he started to shout at me "Dun fool me, do you know what was my first job, my first job was working in SAP and worked for so many years, don't try to fool me as i know ERP so much!!" Okay, i stopped my explanation and wait for the second question.
It kept silent for a while and the 2 other interviewers were a bit startled about why he shouted suddenly . Waited for around 10 seconds, he returns to his normal loudness but still with critical tone and asked why you select this small company to work after your graduation, do you know these small companies are useless and you have wasted you few years on these small company without any development for your personal career, I tried to explained I have gained a lot of valuable hands on experience on every positions in small company. Then he raised up his voice again and said as I have selected the smaller company instead of choosing another big company, this tells I am a person don't want to stand on the ground and always want to fly directly without learning the basic things, and he basically won't consider hire these people especially for programming there should be no shortcut that cause the code difficult to maintain.
Okay, really dun know why he got these conclusions but I was not interviewing for a programmer post. And he continued to ask do I know any programming experience, I presume he knew the position on their job description was BA and there was no requirement on programming skills.
Then he began to say with my expected salary, that is not possible as they will need to train me from zero, although I have few years experiences they can only treat me as fresh grad and pay for the entry level salary.
I can feel the other 2 interviewers were a bit embarrassing as the post in this interview was hiring BA instead of programmer, and how come a company ask candidate to interview if candidate's expectation is far different with their target. But as this interviewer said, the other 2 interviewers joined the conversation and try to ask how low salary I can accept, especially they need to train me like a "fresh grad".
This was basically a wasting time interview and the only value added was gave the chance for the interviewers to insult me.
