The interview process was long. I interviewed first with the tech recruiter, then had three successive interviews with people I’d be working with once hired. Finally I had a four-hour session, during which I gave a 20 minute presentation on a past project (followed by q&a) and had three back-to-back interviews with people from various teams across the company.
Questions were mostly about how I’ve handled challenges in the past and my plans for the role should I receive an offer.
Overall the interview process was long and stressful, but everyone I talked to was friendly, smart, and interested in what I had to say. I was able to gather accurate information on what the job would be like, what company culture is like, and the type of people who work here. I will say the process could probably have been shortened by an interview or two—I was working a full time job and had to more time off than I would have liked in order to accommodate all the interviews.
