FSI (FM Solutions) interview questions

Brief and perfunctory, but got to the issues that needed addressing. Discussion of CV, experience, and life outside of work. Covered all the bases without being overly complicated. Not a lot more to say, but you have to get up to a minimum word count!

I was invited for an interview which turned out to be a 2 hour face to face where various stages of conversation took place which was the usual explaining about your experience and skill set and what do you know about the company (usual questions) and then a few technical questions which were simple however the hiring manager who interviewed me made me feel small and seemed very judgemental of my answers seemingly trying to purposely catch me out. At this point the interview felt like a grilling and I did not feel comfortable. A few further discussions about what would be expected from the role and answering any questions I had about the position or company. The interviewer knew that I had just been made redundant and I felt played on this throughout the 2 hours sat in one of their messy back office meeting rooms. The interview concluded with the hiring manager proposing/asking how I would feel of a salary £13k UNDER the advertised salary which was absolutely disgusting and I would not have been able to live let alone travel to the place of work on that salary which I explained and there was no simpathy or alternate proposal. I wanted to walk out and cry but I stayed strong and professional and said thank you for your time and that they would be in touch. I will admit, I initially accepted the job about a week later of being contacted due to being made redundant and needing a job but the thought of starting at such a company where I felt belittled and undervalued in a interview was not an option. So I continued job hunting. Fortunately I was offered a job elsewhere and declined to start at this company. I did not mention any of my feelings at the time or contact HR as I didn't want anything to do with the company but I have since felt like this review/experience should be made public.
