I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx (Eau Claire, WI) in Mar 2012
Interview
Hiring process begins with scheduling a sort observation over email. After completing the sort observation, I was asked to return the next morning to complete an application, and was called three days after the application for an interview. Interview was extremely short and simple, most questions simply evaluated work ethic. They completed a background check, and one week later they called and offered me a position which I accepted.

Question 1
Are you able to lift 70+ pounds with no assistance?
Mostly based off work history. They seem felon friendly. I do not have a criminal history. Personality test not difficult. They responded within 4 weeks. Haven't been there physically or meant face to face.
Super easy process—mostly online application with basic questions about availability, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, and fast-paced work. No tough interview; quick hire after background check. Positive and straightforward. Definitely worth it.
