The process was a joke. When speaking with the recruiter, they said that there would only be 2 more interviews after that. Meeting with the hiring manager & a counterpart for the position, and then with the creative director (the hiring director's boss). This wasn't the case... ended up having 6 interviews, with 17 different people. Met with different level designers, art directors, creative brand director, and retail marketing members.
Things went fine, until the last interview with a senior level employee. Was warned that they weren't a great person, but didn't think it was going to be as bad as what people had said. During the process, they had asked me a question regarding print and digital, when explaining the experience in it, they must have not liked the answer that was given. A question was asked back to both people in the interview on what gaps might be there, whether from the resume or experience, the person that answered the question said that the print and digital experience wasn't there. That would have been a great time to give ask why they thought that, but I guess it is too late now.
The one person in the third interview, had reflective glasses on, was working on a bunch of other stuff during the interview.
Overall, there was a lack of respect. This meaning, they didn't want to be there. So, if they didn't want to be there, then why should they have had the chance to judge me?
