I applied through university. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Portland, OR)
Interview
The first interview at my school went well and was very basic with just personality based questions. Once I made the trip out to Portland, it was a very confusing interview process. The recruiter at my school told me I would be a great in the Account Executive position, so I assumed I would be interviewing for that job. However, I actually had an interview with 3 different people in different departments looking to see if I would be a good fit in their position they were seeking to fill. While I was under the impression for all of them I was trying to tell them why I would be good for the AE job. I just wish I would of known that and could of been better prepared for the interviews because I really did like the atmosphere of the company.

Question 1
What is something we didn't ask you that you want to tell us about?
Similar to most other interviews, very basic questions testing fit and values. Multiple rounds, but mostly wanted to learn more about you and why you wanted to work for Fisher.
It was clear and easy. The people were very friendly and they made sure to aska range of questions. There were 3 rounds I believe. The first two were more in depth to gauge character
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. The first one was on zoom. Second one was on site with a tour of the property. Final was on zoom again. Final interview was definitely the most difficult. At the end of the final interview I was told the hiring managers were going to review candidates and that I would hear from them by the end of the week. I never heard from them again. Very strange. Thought after 3 rounds of interviews they would at least reach out to tell me no.
