The entire process consisted of 3 rounds, including a recruiter screener, a video call, and a take-home assignment. The take-home assignment took up to 180 minutes and included 4 open-ended questions, all of which were exercises.
I'm always very hesitant about companies handing out huge take-home assignments like this that involve researching brand-specific insights, creating strategy points, and brainstorming smart content ideas that are for the actual brand itself. Then, after completing the test, I received an automated rejection email saying I would not be moving forward. In that same email, they invite you to ask them for specific feedback on the take-home exam, which I requested and never received.
I understand these tests give a good idea of the candidate's skill set, but it's entirely too much effort to give for a multiple-round interview process, and quite honestly, very disappointing after completing a 3-hour timed test.
