I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company
Interview
The first round of interviews on zoom went very well and I felt very comfortable with the people interviewing me. This round was behavioral and situational questions.
The second round was very difficult and hard to follow. I was told to "read the document, answer some questions, and then we can have a conversation at the end." I read the 15-page document thinking I needed to analyze the data that was provided. I was then only talking to one interviewer who put me into a very awkward position. I assumed because of the first round of my interview that I would be analyzing this data as well. After having a 20-minute conversation I was then told to ask the "dealer" questions about the initial document, not asking questions about Ford to the interviewer. I was never professionally told to not ask questions about Ford any longer and that it should've been about what questions I had after reading the document. This process is something I have learned from but will never forget due to the lack of communication.
