I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Forterro (London, England)
Interview
A three stage interview process with a specific skills chat, followed by a panel interview with a technical task and then finally a senior leadership chat. Everyone was friendly, encouraging and the interview felt very much like a collaborative assesment of mutual fit and not at all an interrogation.
I applied online. I interviewed at Forterro (London, England)
Interview
Straight into technical by two individuals (no management or Team Lead or HR present) no interest about the candidate nor were questions tailored to experience in cv. They need to do better during the interview process.
The interview isn't just on the candidate, the candidate is also doing the same against the organisation so good representation is key.
Pros:
The company presents itself as innovative, global, and forward-thinking. The CEO’s communication is inspiring, emphasizing leadership, diversity, and inclusion on a global level.
Cons:
Unfortunately, the interview experience did not reflect that same spirit (Germany). The conversation felt distant and overly critical rather than curious or engaging. The tone was more evaluative than exploratory, which doesn’t align with the company’s public commitment to openness and leadership culture.
