After application submission through job site, I received an eMail requesting an in-person interview at corporate headquarters. The interview included three IT department employees, no HR, and myself. I found the interview relaxed and low pressure. There were a handful of questions allowing me plenty of uninterrupted time to answer. I was also allotted plenty of time to ask my questions and provided direct answers to each. I was ask for and granted my salary expectations.
I was informed they had one last candidate to interview and would make their decision the following week. I was promptly contacted and offered the position.
Final note: During the interview I verified they were not looking for a programmer, as I am not, and was reassured they were not as they have plenty of programmers on-staff. However, I was released prior to the end of my 90 day probation because I am not a programmer.
