GCI General Contractors interview questions

The introductory call and interview took were scheduled 1 week apart. I met with the current Project Accountant and Controller, was reminded to notify them if I have any updates on other potential job offers. Then I found out the original PA role I applied to was reposted, then cancelled, and new posting was created. While I was waiting for updates anxiously, I received the rejection email stating they went with another candidate from the Talent 2+ weeks after the last interview.
