I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GEP (Clark, NJ) in Jan 2019
Interview
GEP contacted me via email then phone and quickly moved me through a personalized interview process. Every step was professional and follow-up was consistently on time which made the experience positive. I did several phone screens first and then went to the Clark office and met two members of the HR team, a Hiring Manager and the President of GEP. The questions were more to get to know my personality and experiences during the in-person interview and it was a two-way conversation where I could ask questions throughout the interview. I was in a room with a glass wall so I could view people at work which was helpful to see the culture. The employees looked engaged and were communicating with each other and seemed happy. The office was easy to get to, right off of the Parkway.

There was one HR round, one hiring manager round, and one round of three interviews with other group leaders. All of these interviews were done over zoom, so were done over video and moved very quickly and smoothly. Good process overall!

Previous experiences relevant to the role and competency check
I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at GEP (Clark, NJ) in Mar 2019
Interview
I had a phone call first with a Recruiting Manager to discuss a particular role. I had a second call with a Manager but more of a phone interview and skill assessment. Then I went to an in-person interview with three people and received an offer a few days later. Once I got an offer, I did a background check and they checked references. I started a few weeks later. When I met a Founder the interview questions were situational-based but I also felt the interview was to get to know me as a person and not just on paper which I felt was a plus. Everyone was very professional but the interview was longer than I had expected.
