I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at General Motors (GM) (Detroit, MI) in Aug 2020
Interview
First was a resume pass. If you got through that, then they presented 5 STAR style interview questions that you would record and submit, then 2 quick cognitive games to play. Once those were reviewed, there were 2 coding questions that lasted 30 minutes each.

Question 1
Typical STAR questions. If you do some preparation/practice ones, you will do fine. They are just trying to see if you have good communication skills.
The coding ones were also fairly easy, with like 10 different languages to choose from. One was essentially just solving the distance between two coordinates, the other I can't remember, but it required more thought. I will say, a lot of these types of HireVue questions are a little tricky when it comes to input, so get comfortable with handling unformatted input in a language of your choosing.

Interview
First, they send you an online Technical Assessment. Then, if you pass that round, you will interview with two developers. They look at your resume and ask in depth technical questions.

I applied online. I interviewed at General Motors (GM) (Las Vegas, NV) in Sept 2023
Interview
Only did the OA, passed both problems, probably Leetcode Easy to lower medium. Never received another interview. Pretty fun questions, but easy to pass so the resume is the big part.

Question 1
Questions on Arrays and the manipulation of arrays.
A year ago, it was not technical and questions were easily answered in STAR format. Being able to talk about resume and experience is vital, as well as answering scenario questions.
