I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Gensler (San Diego, CA) in Jun 2018
Interview
The hiring process took about two months in total though once the first interview happened the process was very quick. I found the team to be extremely nice and they came to the interview prepared. There have been so many times that I have shown up to the interview and the interviewer hadn't read my resume, that is not the case at Gensler, they are well prepared and waste no time asking about any things that they want clarified from your resume. They have simplified the interview process to be a shorter time and don't waste a lot of time on people they do not want to hire. ASK QUESTIONS, there is bound to be something you want to know about the company or people you will be working with.
Only one interview via Teams with two managers. I got scheduled for another Teams meeting and I assumed it was a second interview, but it turned out to be an offer presentation.

Interview
Arrived 5 minutes before interview and waited 1 hour for the interviewer to become available. What, the applicant's time far less important than theirs? Let the the time go by that it was estimated the 2nd interview would happen and was told it would be a few more weeks. After several months went by with the same response. I wrote them off even though they were still advertising for the position. 1) If I had shown up to the 1st interview an hour late they probably would not have even made time for me. 2) They need to be honest instead of stringing applicants along. 3) In an interview the company is just as much under review as the applicant is.
