I am sorry to hear about your experience. In April 2019 we did have a Copywriter position open, we had 257 applicants and a number of in-person interviews. From the Marketing-side, we would have a Manager do first round interviews because the Copywriter would work closest with that person. From HR, you would have meet only myself, and I would never ask that sort of question. If you came back for a second interview, that would have been with SVP of Marketing, and possibly SVP of HR. It's hard to imagine anyone might ask that sort of question. If someone did ask you that question, I'm surprised, appalled, and apologize. This is the first I've ever heard of such unprofessional behavior at Gibson during the interview process. Your situation is duly noted.
