I applied through university. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Hyderābād)
Interview
On Campus hiring. I had 2 technical and 1 technical + HR round. Technical rounds were overall medium to hard difficulty. I was asked DSA type problems in the interview. The discussion was mostly on the approach of the problem. I did not have to write the code, but explain my approach in detail.

Question 1
One of the problems that I was asked was that I have been given an array A which represents a wall. The wall is made up of planks of width 1 unit and A[i] units is the height of the ith plank. I have a brush of width 1 unit. I need to paint the wall and I can make strokes either horizontally or vertically. What is the minimum number of strokes that I need to paint the wall.
2 back to back 45min super day interviews. 1/3 behavioral questions and rest of time on technical questions covering math and coding. Different interviewers have different focus, one of my interview's technical question was purely focused on algorithms. The other one asked some typical quant math questions and one coding following.
Hi! I only did the virtual interview/HireVue but the questions consist of basic behavioral questions (i.e. working on a team, conflict resolution, leadership, over coming problems/obstacles, etc.). STAR method is a great way to answer all the questions.
