I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (New York, NY) in Oct 2017
Interview
I applied for an software engineering internship. They sent me a coding challenge the next day. One hour for two problems–first one was pretty easy, reversing a string or something like that. Second one was harder. The two sum problem. I could've implemented an exponential solution pretty easily but I wanted something more efficient. My advice would be to not try to implement a hash table from scratch in C.
The super day interview with Goldman Sachs asset management for a summer internship was fully behavioral. There were 3 rounds of interviews, each around 30 minutes. The application process itself was simple.
Good Interview. Tested probability puzzles, statistics and machine learning in general. The interviewer was clear and helpful. The interview process was smooth. There was HR round, technical round and CV round.

Question 1
Two bullets are loaded into a gun's round barrel consecutively. The barrel has a capacity of 6. The gun is fired once, but no bullet is shot. Does rolling the barrel (shuffling) before next shot increase the probability of firing a bullet?
