What a shame! I love the product, and the company seems to have wonderful publicity over how it runs and operates. I really wanted to work for them, and firmly believe that once through the door, some people will have a great experience.
However their interview process seems to have a lot of problems, most notably with communication. After I initially applied I firstly did not hear anything for quite a while, once into the process all was fine until I had finished my first interview, then....
....radio silence!
No follow up from recruiters asking how I thought it went, no clarification on what their impressions were and no overall feedback. It seems once they don't like you, they cut you off, like a toxic ex boy/girlfriend!
And it's a shame really, because the main interview - who has a very impressive CV themself and has been featured in articles on Grafana's website talking about how great the recruitment process is - but this is all undermined by the actions I experienced in the process. They are also now at the director level, so despite being in a position of influence and responsibility, either is unable to, or is unwilling to change, iterate and improve on the hiring process.
And to say it again and conclude, what a shame!
