I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Grand Canyon Education in Nov 2025
Interview
I was invited to the call screening. The person doing the screening had to reschedule last minute which is understandable. Once I got on, one of the first questions she asked me was about my education which I answered truthfully. She said she would have to get back to me to see if that works for the hiring manager. Put the call on hold for 45 minutes until I finally reached out via email asking what's going on she told me she would get back to me. After going back and forth with her for 3 days trying to understand what education requirement I needed, since it was not listed on their posting as required but preferred, and showing I was met the minimum requirements, she completely ghosted me and did not respond. Extremely unprofessional and will not be looking to pursue with them even if they reach out. Waste of time.

Interview
Starts with a interview with HR, then gets pumped to the reporting manager. From ther,e it is common to have 2-3 interviews, one with just the manager, the second with several managers of the same department, and finally a team interview.

Interview
I met with the manager of the military student recruiting division and two of the team leads. The leads were both looking for people to add to their teams. They took turns asking me basic questions about job experience, how I've dealt with difficult work decisions, and why I thought I was a good candidate for the job. Overall, I think they were looking for a good personality fit.
