Initial screen with the recruiter where I was asked about scale of certain projects and production Node.js experience. The team seemed overly concerned about Node.js, which is taught to people without any software development experience.

Question 1
How many years of production Node.js experience do you have?
At first I thought Great Minds was still a non-profit and some of the hiccups (pacing/tone) during the interview process made sense, but they are no longer a non-profit. It could use some tightening up. Much of the communication felt distracting rather than useful.

I interviewed at Great Minds (Washington, DC) in Mar 2020
Interview
HR office will call you for the first HR screening.
First Interview with Director. Mostly behavior question.
Second Interview with senior. Asking technical, but mostly behavior questions.
Final coding interview.
I do not strongly recommend this company. It was the worst interview of my whole career. This company does not treat people fairly. The interview was very short less than 15mins. I do not know how this company exists in the education industry for a long time. During the technical interview, they really do not ask a technical question. I wasted my time here preparing for the interview. Right after, I got the letter you got rejected. People really need to deserve more than that. I strongly do not recommend you applying here.
