I applied through university. I interviewed at HSBC (London, England) in Feb 2015
Interview
Had a very good experience interviewing here; but some difficult questions. Just be well prepared and practise beforehand. Even though I did not get the offer it was a pleasant experience and I would consider reapplying when I am more confident with the financial content.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
why HSBC? why this internship programme? how would you cope with a conflict of ideas with a fellow colleague? why would you be good at HSBC?
the interview process was very quick and simple they did not go into detail regarding what the role is about they just asked why i wanted to join hsbc and one other question, it ended in 10minutes
The interview and the interviewers were really friendly and warm, especially for a student with not much experience. The process may be daunting but the interview was good. the questions were mainly about fit questions so just be aware of yourself.
