I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HSBC (London, England) in Oct 2024
Interview
I had to complete two online assessments before being invited to the assessment centre, with only a week's notice. The AC involved three interviews with different bankers, covering a mix of competency, skills, and technical questions. The questions weren’t necessarily hard but were a bit unusual for investment banking, needing a good amount of market knowledge and interpretation skills. The interviewers were friendly and didn’t try to intimidate me, which made the process enjoyable overall. I also received detailed feedback.
