I applied online. I interviewed at Halter (New Zealand)
Interview
The screening process was smooth and clear. Very friendly recruiter. The second interview also went well, with a relatively friendly manager. Unfortunately, my experience was soured when the feedback to not move forward with my application was based on a lack of talents that were not reflective of my work experience from the start. I wondered why they interviewed me if they were looking for someone with more years than I had listed on my resume and explained in my initial screening. I'm sure Halter is a wonderful place to work, but the experience was not entirely positive.

I interviewed at Halter (New Zealand) (Auckland, Auckland)
Interview
There was an initial phone interview, followed by an in-person interview at their office with one of their engineers. It lasted about 30-40 minutes. The role was then removed before it progressed further.
Had a great screen call and hiring manager call. Then I did a culture fit interview with a team member who didn't structure her questions well and kept repeating it in different wording. She kept asking me what makes me happy and a lot of informal questions. I answered them the best I could and then a week later was told by the recruiter I was rejected. Even the recruiter stated I had the experience but the interviewer didn't believe I'd be a good fit for the working style. This company wants someone informal to work with who makes a lot of jokes I guess.
