I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Harbor Freight Tools (Yorkville, NY) in Jun 2020
Interview
Applied online and had a phone screen with recruiter. He set up a 1:1 interview with the District Manager. I arrived at the interview and the DM indicated he did not have my resume and had no idea what position I was to interview for. He also indicated he could not access the store's intranet to check his email for my resume. When I told him I could get my resume from my phone, which was in my car, he said no and proceeded with my interview, despite not having a clue about my experience. After I saw the job posted about 6 weeks after my interview, I reached out to the recruiter with my experience and concerns.

Interview
I was approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn. Scheduling the interview was easy. My interview seemed to go well, I was asked 3 managerial questions otherwise we covered my job history. When the interview concluded, I was given the District managers name and told I would hear from them in 4 days. If I didn't I was to tell the recruiter. I never her from the Dm. Communicated with the recruiter and also never heard back. I did a follow up email a week later and did not get a response. I never received a decline letter either.

Interview
Started with a phone interview, then in person. In person interviewer was rather distant and uninterested from the start. Felt like it was due to my age as he was younger than 3 of my own kids.
