I was an internal referral. Being a referral automatically requires an initial phone interview. I was contacted and spoke with an HR associate immediately (a day after my referral). The phone call went very well. I was instructed on how the interview process would go moving forward. After hanging up with the HR rep, I received an automated email stating I was not being considered. 10 days later I got a call from the HR rep stating they are moving forward with other applicants. When I mentioned I received an automated email of that information the same day, his response was “that should not have happened.” Unprofessional and disorganized. Additionally if hired in a remote position, your pay will be altered if you move to a different state down the line.
