I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HealthVerity (Philadelphia, PA) in Feb 2023
Interview
In the span of 2 weeks, a series of things will happen. A 15–20 minute recruiter call will be followed by a take-home test. The last step will involve a 3- to 4-hour virtual on-site interview. The team you'll be working with will interview you. A technical round with live coding and technical questions will take place. There will be a non-technical round in which you'll be asked questions about work culture and tested on how you'll handle specific situations. Instead of providing accurate results, many questions were asked to assess how novel your approach is. It will help to be well-prepared in understanding the interviewer's expectations. The recruiter will keep you well informed about the next steps at every stage of the process. The interviewers are welcoming and encouraging. They are adept at answering queries and dispelling ambiguities. The interview will take place in a positive, cooperative environment.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HealthVerity in Aug 2022
Interview
Healthverity's interview process was very good. The teams questions showed me they knew their stuff. For an engineering role I had:
- 30 minute call with recruiter/hr
- Take home code exercise, about 45-1.5 hours depending on how crazy you go.
- 3 hours of interview with the team including some live coding as well as meeting most levels of the team.
- Touch base with the recruiter.
- References Checked
Compared to other recruitment efforts I've been through this year, this went very well. I was particularly impressed with the content of the code assessments. Lots of practical OS type stuff instead of the usual textbook algorithms. The interviews were challenging but fair and fun.

Interview
The interview process was very smooth, quick, and fair - they honestly want to know how you think and how you approach challenges! Everyone throughout the entire interview process at HealthVerity was very nice and fun to talk to. I enjoyed that the interviews felt collaborative rather than an interrogation about what you know and don't know. I also appreciated that some interviewers typed their questions in the chat.
Process: recruiter call > take home coding challenge > ~4 hour virtual onsite > verbal offer > references
