I applied in-person. I interviewed at Hemlock Semiconductor (Hemlock, MI) in Dec 2025
Interview
It was two people in the room. It wasn’t hard just be descriptive in your answers and give details and remember the details to the job and about the company
The technical round usually involves problem-solving and discussions around core concepts. Questions may test your knowledge of algorithms, data structures, OOP principles, or specific domain expertise. For example, you might be asked to implement a solution for a given problem, optimize an SQL query, or explain the architecture of a model you have worked on. Showcasing clear thought processes, logical reasoning, and familiarity with real-world applications of technologies you’ve used can significantly strengthen your case.
Very odd. I felt like I was heavily recruited, then ghosted, then heavily recruited again…then ghosted again. Then out of blue offered an interview, where only 1 of 2 people showed up. Interview went fine but lot of things that bothered me leading up to it. The machine in the unattended lobby spitting my temporary badge into the floor for me to pick up was a laughable conclusion to the process. I was offered and accepted another role on the way home from this interview. This may be a great company! I hope they see this honestly and make some improvements.
