The woman interviewing me spent at least 10 minutes speaking about how millennials are often unreliable and bad workers, and don't know any better. A note: many millennials have been in the work force for almost 20 years. The oldest of our generation is 35.
She was very condescending and rude about my age - while I am a 27 year old woman who has been working since 13. And of course, all you can do during an interview is smile and laugh.
I'm a young professional looking to put my roots down at a job. And have in the past. But she focused entirely on her opinion of millennials for some reason, which was very odd.
She was also 20 minutes late.
The entire situation was extremely unprofessional and I hope in the future she learns to be less outdated and read less magazine fodder of how millennials are killing industries.
I didn't receive an offer, which is fine, since I'm working with a great and contemporary company now.
