First interview was with the Hiring Manager. We talked about my background and the team’s needs. He was friendly and I got an invitation for the technical round. It was 1.5 hours long and included both technical questions for 1 hour and then a live coding exercise, which felt a little demanding. There were two interviewers, one of them was very rude. I was asked a question by one of them, which I answered correctly. Then I was asked the same question by the other interviewer, saying he wants me to answer again even though I answered correctly. Whenever I say that I am not familiar with a technology, they seem to ask more questions about it. And one of them even laughed, and said my answer is wrong, in multiple questions. I continued even though I was getting a bad feeling from him. Live coding was a task that requires you to remember what specific header you need to pass for an Api request made, using python. This was a platform&cloud heavy job so I was baffled. I respectfully opted out of the process because I don’t think they are professionals.
