Had a phone screening with a recruiter followed by a virtual meeting with the hiring manager. I thought both went pretty well, even though there overly formal and did not feel conversational at all. I was told they were hoping to make a decision by the end of the week, and then they ghosted me, despite me sending emails to the recruiter for updates. Very strange experience.
