I applied online. I interviewed at Hologic in Oct 2024
Interview
Mostly behavioral questions and questions related to my resume. It was around 5 interviews total including the initial screening with the recruiter. They gave me an offer but it was significantly lower than the range that was mentioned during the verbal offer and they were upset when I asked for more money. Whole process left a bad taste.

Interview
It started with the interviewer arriving late, leaving me waiting uncomfortably for quite some time. When they finally showed up, their demeanor was cold and uninterested. Throughout the interview, they seemed unprepared and asked generic questions that didn’t delve into my skills or qualifications. It was clear they hadn’t reviewed my resume thoroughly.
I'm sorry to read that your experience was negative, it certainly isn't the candidate experience we strive for with prospective employees.
I'll review your feedback with our team internally. Thank you for sharing.
After submitting my resume to the company via a recruitment firm, the HR manager shortlisted my resume and arranged for a video interview. Managed to scrape through the 1st round even though I did not have the relevant experience. For the 2nd round, it was a face-to-face interview. However, I was immediately rejected within 5 minutes into the interview once the hiring manager realized that I had no prior relevant experience.
Would like to feedback that there should have been better communication between the recruitment firm, HR and hiring manager to make sure that each party knows exactly what they are looking for in a candidate. While you must invest time and effort to shortlist a candidate, the candidate must do the same to be well-prepared for each round of interview. It would be good to avoid a situation where an unsuitable candidate to present himself for the 2nd round of interview and get rejected on the spot even though the resume clearly stated that he has no prior experience. If the position demands a plug-and-play employee, do make the effort to sieve out the right candidate instead.
